Pour cette 9ème édition de la Bandit, nous avons travaillé principalement sur deux axes : la qualité du profil et le basculement de l'aile pour améliorer le choquer.

Notre designer Robert GRAHAM a effectué un lissage le plus parfait possible du profil sur toute l'envergure de l'aile. L'aile est donc plus performante et plus stable et ce, sans mouvements parasites.

Nous avons ensuite modifié la façon dont l'aile bascule et choque ainsi que la qualité de son profil choqué. Elle est devenue  plus stable en position statique sur la plage mais également en position dynamique en vol. Nous avons changé le tissu du bord de fuite qui était en dacron 170 gr par deux couches de spi de 52 gr : cela permet d'alléger l'aile et d'éviter des flapements.

Grâce à toutes ces améliorations, en navigation, l'aile reste bien en position en bord de fenêtre sans bouger d'avant en arrière. Elle procure une traction constante qui est surprenante et ce, quelle que soit la force du vent. C'est particulièrement efficace au près, la Bandit vous offrira un meilleur angle sans forcer et sans vitesse excessive.

Cette nouvelle stabilité de l’aile en vol permet d’avoir une barre stable, sans mouvements parasites. Le feeling de barre est plus direct, plus clair et plus précis. En plage basse, la Bandit est réactive et légère; en plage haute, elle est rassurante et absorbe les rafales.

Plus performante, la Bandit est plus facile à envoyer au zénith pour les sauts et offre plus de hang time. En kiteloop, elle passe plus vite dans la fenêtre sans freiner et remonte rapidement au zénith.

En déhooké, sa stabilité et sa capacité à conserver son bord de fenêtre permettent d'avoir un meilleur pop et une traction progressive pendant les handlepass.

Au bout de 9 années de développement de la Bandit, nous avons encore amélioré et mieux ciblé le programme de chaque surface:

- Les grandes ailes de 11m² et plus sont optimisées pour le vent faible avec une attention particulière aux notions de légèreté et de maniabilité qui sont des points importants sur ces surfaces. Elles offrent une puissance au mètre carré inégalée qui est une véritable référence et une plage haute encore améliorée.

- Les surfaces de 8-9-10m² sont ultra efficaces dans tous les types de vent et toutes les disciplines.

- Les plus petites 5-6-7m² sont typées plus wave riding. Pour mieux contrôler vos trajectoires en surf nous avons amélioré le contrôle de la vitesse. Le bénéfice obtenu au niveau de la plage haute et son confort sont également des progrès significatifs pour la pratique de la vague tout comme le gain en stabilité, l’amélioration du feeling de barre et de la maniabilité.
